  • Each game will be video recorded: College coaches and family unable to attend will be able to view games.

  • Game MVP Awards: Chosen by opposing coach.

  • All Tournament Teams: All Tournament Teams for each division will be announced via video on our Facebook page following the event and awards mailed to players.

  • Team Northwest: Top players from the tournament will be selected to play *ALL EXPENSES PAID* for Team Northwest at the City of  Lights National Showcase in Las Vegas in October.

Recruiting Seminar & Awards Ceremony:

The Recruiting Seminar & Awards Ceremony is held Monday evening and includes presentations by college coaches about what it takes both academically and athletically to play fastpitch at the Next Level.  Players who achieved the top SPARQ and testing scores during the Prospect Evaluation Camps will be recognized. This event will be held in the NW Sports Hub Event Center also located in Borst Park. We encourage all parents and players to attend!

Player Evaluation:

Fastpitch Northwest teams for this event are selected by our State Directors from players attending our open regional Prospect Evaluation Camps. We also create and post personal recruiting profile web pages for each player that attends a PEC.

Invitations:

Invitations for the Northwest Championship Tournament will go out to players via email after each Prospect Evaluation Camp. You must receive an invitation to register for this event. Player fee is $245.

What college coaches and recruiters will be in attendance?

We normally have representatives for  over 80% of all NW Colleges in attendance at the Northwest Championships. We also recommend that players contact schools they are interested in to let them know they will be playing in the event.

Fort Borst Park is the most significant park facility in the city system. Because of its size, central location, varied natural features and diverse recreational opportunities, Fort Borst Park attracts large numbers of local and park users. This well developed park is located at the confluence of the Chehalis and Skookumchuck rivers and is the home to the historic Borst homestead, schoolhouse, arboretum and Fort Borst Blockhouse.

Additional athletic fields, an indoor pool and outdoor tennis complex are located nearby and jointly managed with the Centralia School District. Water access includes adjacent river frontages, Fort Borst Lake and concrete boat ramp along the Chehalis River.
