Fastpitch Northwest Watch List

 

Fastpitch Northwest’s Watch List was created to highlight the regions’ top players. Fastpitch Northwest evaluators create the watch list. The watch list was developed to promote and inspire players, and also to promote the game of softball. Some high school, college, and summer/select coaches are consulted, but the final lists are created by the Fastpitch Northwest staff. The lists do not reflect the opinion of any specific high school, college, or private organization.

 

The evaluations are done with the player’s long term potential in mind. In other words, we are looking at the potential success of a player at the next level, not necessary the current success or statistics. The complete ability of the player is considered, including their desire to play and improve.

 

Lists such as this are not an exact science. Fastpitch Northwest understands the difficulty in ranking players and creating watch lists, but we are using our expertise to create a fair and accurate evaluation system.

 

We consider many more players than appear on our lists. Please understand that we may overlook players that should be added to the watch list. Email us if you would like to recommend a player in any class for consideration. Note that we will continue to add or subtract from the watch list throughout the year, as we deem necessary.
